MAINE YOUTH CAMPING ASSOCIATION
MEMBERSHIP POLICIES
Categories:
1.
Camp Members: All organized children's
camps that operate in Maine and are licensed by the State of Maine
as youth camps, or are operated under the control of another
organization by the Department of Health & Human Services, or are
not required to be licensed by the Department.
2.
Business Membership: All
persons or entities that provide products or services to Maine
children's camps.
3.
Individual Members: All
other persons, provided however, that no person who is affiliated
with a Maine children's camp may be a member unless the camp with
which that person in affiliated is a member unless this requirement
is waived by the Corporation.

Please
Note: The
directory reaches 15,000 people - families, libraries and schools in
the U.S. each year; the web reaches thousands more all over the
world.
Camp Membership Dues:
Annual
Membership dues are based on .0015 of all income available for
summer operations, including tuition, fees, dividends, camperships
and contributions. The minimum dues are $95, the maximum payable
are $1000.
Operators of
camps on more than one site and/or running multiple programs on the
same site may have camp memberships for all their camps by paying
camp membership dues for their largest camp. Operators of more than
one camp may purchase a principal listing in the directory of
Children’s Summer Camps in Maine for their “dues paying camp” at the
single camp rate. Additional listings may be purchased for programs
on the same site at the same rate as the principle listing; on a
separate (geographically separated, non-contiguous properties) site
at a higher established rate. Effective September 15, 2000, the rate
for an additional listing on a separate (geographically separated,
non-contiguous properties) will be $800.
Dues provide
you with two voting members, who each receive MYCA
mailings, newsletters and other information.
