Chop Point combines a strong residential camping program with the excitement of an adventurous trip progrChop Pointam. Campers come from worldwide to have one of the best summers of their lives. The camp includes 50 acres with a mile of shoreline along the beautiful Kennebec River. Our greatest asset is top-notch staff--college-age counselors who bring their skill, enthusiasm and love of teenagers to camp.

Campers choose their daily activities, such as tennis, painting, kayaking, sailing, canoeing, soccer, basketball, photography or swimming, and can also participate in any of our memorable 2-5 day adventure trips, from hiking in the White Mountains to white water rafting at the head of the Kennebec River, sailing the Maine coast and biking Acadia National Park.
